TTI, INC. ANNOUNCES NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH APEM AND IDEC IN EMEA

PARTNERSHIP FEBRUARY 01, 2018

January 2018 – TTI, Inc., a world leading specialist distributor of electronic components, has signed a pan-European franchise agreement with APEM, which was recently acquired by IDEC, one of the leading worldwide manufacturers of human-machine interface products. The partnership builds on a longstanding and successful relationship between APEM and TTI in France. Furthermore, following the acquisition of the APEM group by IDEC Corporation in 2017, TTI will also expand its product offering to include a wide selection of the IDEC products, including 16 and 22mm switches, enabling and interlock switches, and industrial relays. The combined APEM and IDEC product portfolio further reinforces TTI’s electro-mechanical offering and specifically enhances their leadership in HMI panel components.


APEM develops, manufactures and sells a wide range of switching products. The company has chosen to vertically integrate all phases of production in the three regions EMEA, America,and Asia, controlling all phases of product development and manufacturing. Contributing to APEM‘s market strength in Europe are manufacturing locations in France, Tunisa, Italy, Denmark and the UK. APEM's strong quality reputation is recognized by diversified markets such as tranportation vehicles, industrial automation, defence and aerospace, instrumentation, and communications, and confirmed by many international approvals including UL/CSA and VDE.
